The Bubel/Aiken
Foundation
www.bubelaiken.org
The Bubel/Aiken Foundation
serves to bridge the gap that
exists between young people with
special needs and the world
around them. They support
communities with inclusive
programs and create
awareness about the
possibilities that inclusion can
bring. The grant program
provides much needed funding to
qualified programs serving
families in need of funds to
assist individuals in life
skills and one-to-one social
skills, but more importantly, to
programs that provide social
interaction with non-disabled
peers. They fund the
development of curricula and the
necessary training aimed at
achieving full inclusion in the
educational, employment, and
recreational settings.
