The Community Arts Network (CAN) supports the belief that the arts are an integral part of a healthy culture, providing both intellectual nourishment and social benefit, and that community-based arts provide significant value both to communities and artists. 
CAN’s website is an international news resource with articles focusing on the work of artists and other community resources such as health recovery which can include information on arts and persons with disabilities.

New York State Alliance for Arts Education

The New York State Alliance for Arts Education (NYSAAE) serves a broad constituency of arts advocates, including educators, artists, administrators of arts organizations, parents and interested citizens across the state.  NYSAAE disseminates information about model programs, funding and standards of excellence, develops training models for constituent organizations, and advocates for arts education at the local, state and national levels. Receive the monthly E-News distributed to 8,000 educators, artists, policy makers and others statewide and learn about advocacy networks.
 

Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES)

BOCES is a public organization created by the New York State legislature to provide shared educational programs and services to NYS school districts. The BOCES Arts in Education Coordinators Statewide Network is comprised of BOCES and large city Arts in Education Coordinators.
