About NYSAAE
The New York State Alliance for Arts
Education (NYSAAE) serves a broad
constituency of arts advocates,
including educators, artists,
administrators of arts
organizations, parents and
interested citizens across the
state. NYSAAE disseminates
information about model programs,
funding and standards of excellence,
develops training models for
constituent organizations, and
advocates for arts education at the
local, state and national levels. A
state-wide non-profit service
organization, NYSAAE is dedicated to
ensuring that the arts become an
integral part of every person's
education in New York State.
NYSAAE is the go-to
source for arts
education/arts-in-education
research, resources, and guides,
including its recently published
Toolkit for Teaching the Arts, the
most comprehensive compendium of
information for practitioners and
advocates in the arts education and
arts-in-education fields. NYSAAE
offers regional arts in
education conferences, arts in
education grants for schools and
community organizations, programs
such as Poetry Out Loud, and much
more. NYSAAE
connects with over 8000 arts and
education professionals throughout
New York State through the E-News
each month. Learn how you can

distributing news and resources for
