About VSA arts Comes To New York State’s Resources

This is a sampling of resources serving persons with disabilities and their caregivers residing in New York State. These resources will assist in identifying a wide range of organizations, services, funding opportunities, recently published documents, and links to other helpful websites. Advocacy
This section offers links to agencies that offer assistance with legal and policy issues, as well as general support for people with special needs and their families, caregivers, and educators.

Education Resources
This section offers links to agencies that offer support in curriculum development, education reform, professional development, classroom resources, research surrounding education, and more.

Cultural and Arts Organizations
This section offers links to performing arts and cultural organizations that have the facilities and/or equipment to provide people with special needs with high quality and non-discriminatory experiences as audience members.

Arts Opportunities
This section offers links to agencies that offer participatory experiences and special programs for artists and students with special needs.
